Lior Presents Award to Nava Mau

The Trans Filmmakers Summit x TIFF is back! September 8th 2024 at the TIFF Bell Lightbox.

At the 2024 Trans Film Summit, Lior Maharjan, on behalf of the Spindle Films Foundation, presented alongside Lee Nisar from the Trans Film Mentorship the 3rd annual Barrier Breaker Award to Baby Reindeer Star Nava Mau. The award honours a trans leader who is actively challenging the limitations of the media industry and disrupting the system, paving the way for more and better trans representation and storytelling.
